We’ve had so much lifestyle creep over the last five months (my hubs and I are both natural spenders 🙃), and we need to go through our finances and re-calibrate this with the goal of investment and generosity. I've been feeling the conviction of over spending too and was like if i don't reign this in, then any "extra" money from a pay increase will be spent mindlessly and that cannot happen, so we're praying about how to invest that "extra" instead of just letting it sit in our accounts or be spent on lifestyle creep. Knowing me, that means I need the money to go somewhere other than our checking account or easily accessible savings, so figuring out systems to give and invest first before spending is our next challenge!
